Is this my new ambient era EP? The remnants of an abandoned trip hop album? A soundtrack for a never released sci-fi space epic? Rejected beats for Drake? Short answer yes, long answer no. Here is a collection of songs I could save and scatter about in a new album and let them clash with their louder, more brash siblings but instead I’ve gathered them together and set them apart so they could be moody on their own. This is an EP to put on to fall asleep to. A record to hear while you stare wistfully out the window on a rainy summer day. Something to put on when you’re “in a mood.” Songs to close your eyes, put on your headphones and let your imagination wander. So... okay, sure, it's an ambient record.
